US Passport Holder – Australian Visa Required
Australia is a desirable destination, both for travel and for business. Its landscape is vastly different than that of many other countries around the world, and its market is thriving. The country’s history is also unique, as it was inhabited by indigenous people who spoke roughly 250 languages. If you’re interested in traveling to Australia, you’ll either need a tourist visa or a business visa, depending on your reasons for visiting the country.
TOURIST VISA FOR AUSTRALIA
With a tourist visa to Australia, you can visit the country on holiday, for general tourism purposes, for recreation, or to visit members of your family who currently live there. The visa is temporary, and most last for up to twelve months. This visa is different than a sponsored family visa or a business visa. To obtain a tourist visa for Australia, you’ll need to present the following:
1. Valid and signed U. S. Passport – As with international travel to any country, under any circumstances, you need to provide a US passport to obtain your one day Australia visa.
2. One (1) Australia Visa Application Form 48R – Click the link to print or fill out your application form.
3. Two (2) passport-type photographs – Passport photos need to be clear and your face needs to be facing the camera straight on. Many drug store chains offer these photos in the store.
4. Letter from the employer stating that the applicant is employed and will travel to Australia as a tourist – By proving that you are not going to Australia for a job or for business purposes, you will be able to get your Australia visa more quickly.
5. Copy of travel itinerary – Your travel itinerary will prove to officials that you are visiting the country with no other intentions than recreation or casual visiting.
6. Service Order Form – Click the link to find your service order form.
